Benji Gregory

Benji Gregory was born on May 26, 1978 in Los Angeles, California.

Benji played Brian Tanner of the TV Series “Alf” from 1986-1990.

He retired from Acting in 1993.

Benji enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2003 and was an Aerographer's Mate.

During his Naval Career Benji was assigned to the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70). In 2005, he received an Honorable Medical Discharge from the Navy.

He married Sara in 2006.

He was found dead inside his car, along with his Service Dog (Hans) who was also dead on June 13, 2024 in Peoria, Arizona. He likely dead of Heatstroke.

He was 46 years old.

His Death was not publicly announced until July 10, 2024.

Note: Max Wright who played his Dad, Willie Tanner, on “Alf” died in 2019.
