Piotr Adamczyk is a Polish Film, Television,
Voice and Theater Actor.
Piotr was born on March 21, 1972
in Warsaw, Poland.
Piotr joined the Machulski Youth Theatre
Group in Warsaw.
He attended International Theater
Workshops in Germany and the UK (on Scholarships.)
He attended the Theatre Academy
in Warsaw.
During his second year he won a
Scholarship to attend the British American Drama Academy for 1 year where he
performed “Hamlet.”
Since 1991, he has been in 800 Radio
Plays and over 100 Theater, Film and TV Roles.
In 2002 he was in the film “Chopin:
Desire for Love” where he played Frédéric Chopin.
In 2004 he was in the film “Karol:
A Man Who Became Pope” where he played Pope John Paul II in English.
In 2005 he was in the film “Karol: The Pope, The Man” where he reprised his
role as Pope John Paul II in English.
He was in the films “Letters to
Santa 1” in 2011, “Letters to Santa 2” in 2015, “Letters to Santa 3” in 2017, “Letters
to Santa 4” in 2020 and “Letters to Santa 5” in 2022.
“Letters to Santa” (Polish:”
Listy do M”) is the Polish Version of “Love Actually.”
From 2008-2014 he was in “Time of
Honor” (Polish: “Czas honoru”) where he played Lars Rainer, the Head of the
German Gestapo in Warsaw.
In 2018 he was in the American
Television Show “Madame Secretary” where he played Józef Demko, President of
Poland for 2 episodes.
Also in 2018 he played Polish
Flying Ace, Witold Urbanowicz, in “303 Squadron” who served in the Polish Air
Force, the British Royal Air Force and the US Army Air Forces during World War
2.
