Dortmund Deportations

300 Jewish Men, Women and Children from Dortmund, Germany wait with their luggage at the Eintracht Sports Field on April 28, 1942.

They were kept here by the Germans for 2 days without any food or water while more People were rounded-up.

On April 30, 1942 these Men, Women and Children were marched to the Dortmund-Süd Freight Station and deported to Zamość in German-Occupied Poland where they were murdered by the Germans at either the Zamość Rotunda (a total of 8,000 were murdered there) or at the Auschwitz Death Camp.

There were a total of 7 Transports of Dortmund Jews from Dortmund to their Murders in German-Occupied Poland from 1942-1944.
