Thanks to the US Supreme Court allowing the banning of being Homeless Local, State and the Federal Governments can now actively go after the Homeless and jail them rather than help them.
When I was 13 years old I spent
the night sleeping in a sleeping bag (with no tent) when it was 30 F with snow
on the ground so that I would see what it was like for the Homeless every
single night.
I learned a lot back then that
has only made me what to help the Homeless (many who are Veterans, the
Disabled, People with Pets, Families and the Working Poor - people who work
Full-Time and still can't afford rent.)
I only wish that every single
Justice of SCOTUS and any Mayor, Governor or other Elected Official would see
what I learned at 13 - maybe they all need to spend the night outside in the
rain or the snow.
