I Stand With/For

I was asked today why I care about the ban on being Homeless since I’m not Homeless.

It’s pretty easy to answer: I am not Homeless, but SCOTUS and now Local and State Governments banning Homeless from Public Places (i.e. banning the Public from Public Places) and giving them huge fines they can’t afford or sending them to jail is a travesty.

It would be one thing if there were laws (especially in places banning being Homeless) where they are required to have Shelters available for every single Homeless Person (Veterans, the Elderly, the Disabled, Families, Those with Pets and the Working Poor), but they aren’t required to and most don’t care to so they simply ban being Homeless and think that solves the problem – which it doesn’t.

59% of all 330 Million Americans are just 1 Paycheck away from being Homeless so the “problem” of banning Homelessness isn’t going away, but will most likely increase.

I am NOT Homeless, but I stand FOR Homeless Rights!

The same as the other Groups currently being discriminated against and attacked:

I am NOT a Woman, but I stand FOR Women’s Rights!

I am NOT Homosexual, but I stand FOR Homosexual Rights!

I am NOT in an Interracial Relationship, but I stand FOR Interracial Couple’s Rights!

I am NOT Jewish, but I stand WITH the Jews!

I am NOT Ukrainian, but I stand WITH Ukraine!

I am NOT a Veteran, but I stand FOR Veteran’s Rights!

I am NOT Disabled, but I stand for Disabled Rights!

Don’t let any Person, Politician, Religious Leader or Organization try to place blame or incite fear towards the above Groups.

They are merely trying to use them as Scapegoats so we don’t look too deep at the real reasons for our current problems.
