It has been 7 hours since the tree company came to look at the broken tree. The guy said he was concerned and that's why he said they would even do the work tomorrow or Thursday.
He said that if the tree falls it
will damage or destroy our: 1,000 gallon Propane Tank, our generator, our
Electric/Internet/Telephone Lines and could even damage the house.
He had to send the pictures and
give the info to his boss (the owner) and they would send me an estimate. I
haven't received anything from them. I hope they get back to me.
No other tree company will help
(they do the traditional New Hampshire thing of promising to help and then you
never hear from them again.)
My neighbor did the same exact
thing for this tree when he promised my Dad he would come on Monday morning and
then neither came nor contacted us.
It's the one thing I absolutely
hate about the people in my State and I have seen it countless times in my 12
years here.
From the beginning, when I reached-out for help, no one has taken this emergency seriously (except for myself.) That includes:
The Neighbor who promised to come
look at it and who never came and hasn't been seen or heard from since.
The Electric Company who said
they wouldn't help unless it was actually on the Power Line
The Propane Company who said they
wouldn't help unless it was actually on the Propane Tank.
The 10 (out of 12) Tree Companies
across the State I contacted who lied to me with promises of help and never
delivered and now aren't answering my calls or e-mails.
(1 tree company actually told me
the truth that they couldn't help me until August and another tree company sent
someone to take pictures and get info for an estimate, but I am still waiting
on that estimate.)
If the tree falls and causes
damage or destruction (my 1,000 gallon Propane Tank is completely full and
could easily explode if hit) and my dog is wounded or killed because of it I
will hold the above people responsible since I am doing everything I can and
the people I am turning to for help aren't helping.
I don’t care what happens to me,
but if something happens to my dog that is another story.
