 Anti-Semitism (Anti-Jewish) Attitudes and Attacks are on the rise. This is a multiple year trend that has only gone up. The Anti-Deformation League (ADL) conducted surveys of the Adult Population across every region of the world and including individual countries. The list is long (check out their website for more countries), but here is a sampling of those results:

Globally: 1,090,000,000 People in the world harbor anti-Semitic attitudes (out of the 4,161,578,905 Total adult population of countries surveyed or 26% of the Adult Population.)

24% in Western Europe

74% in The Middle East and North Africa

23% in Sub-Saharan Africa

22% in Asia

14% in Oceania including Australia

In the United States: 24,000,000 People in this country harbor anti-Semitic attitudes or 10% of the Adult Population.

In Canada: 2,318,748 People in this country harbor anti-Semitic attitudes or 8% of the Adult Population in 2019.

In the United Kingdom: 5,684,411 People in this country harbor anti-Semitic attitudes or 11% of the Adult Population.

In Ireland: 670,000 People in this country harbor anti-Semitic attitudes or 20% of the Adult Population.

In Germany: 10,287,028 People in this country harbor anti-Semitic attitudes or 15% of the Adult Population.

In Sweden: 311,513 People in this country harbor anti-Semitic attitudes or 4% of the Adult Population.

In France: 8,565,729 People in this country harbor anti-Semitic attitudes or 17% of the Adult Population.

In New Zealand: 460,000 People in this country harbor anti-Semitic attitudes or 14% of the Adult Population.

In Australia: 2,400,000 People in this country harbor anti-Semitic attitudes or 14% of the Adult Population.

You may not think these Anti-Semitisc (Anti-Jewish) attitudes mean much, but the attitudes have actively led to the rise of Anti-Jewish violence and attacks around the US, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Poland, Russia, etc. (including within the past few days.)

These same Anti-Semitic (Anti-Jewish) attitudes, violence and attacks are not something new, but that doesn’t mean the same things that happened in the past (the Pogroms, the Holocaust, etc.) can’t happen again.

Less than half of those surveyed worldwide under the age of 35 have ever heard of the Holocaust.

 2 out of every 3 people surveyed worldwide have either never heard of the Holocaust or do not believe the historical accounts to be accurate.
