1. “Mars 2 was launched by the Russians today on the first interplanetary mission to land a spacecraft on Mars.”
2. “The Harris Poll claims that 60% of Americans are against the War. This is the first time the American People have agreed with American Troop Withdrawal.”
3. “Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau, who is visiting Moscow, signed an Amity Agreement with the Russians.”
I woke up and heard this
broadcast and was a little confused by it until I realized it was a taped news
cast from May 19, 1971 and was being re-aired for the 50th Anniversary
of the events happening.
Scientists in 2021 have talked about Mars (so
the Russians – or rather the Soviets – going could have fit in with either 1971
or 2021.
A Poll about Americans supporting
Troop Withdrawal from the War could also be in 1971 (the Vietnam War) or in
2021 (the Afghanistan War.)
Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau
could have been in Russia in either 1971 or 2021. Canadian Prime Minister Pierre
Trudeau went to Moscow in May 1971, but his son – Justin Trudeau (who is the
current Canadian Prime Minister) could have also gone to Russia in May 2021.
It’s weird how similar things are
exactly 50 years apart.
