Pockets were created in 1983 by Brothers Paul and David Merage (Iranian Jews
who immigrated to the United States in the 1960s) under the Company they
founded: Chef America Inc.
On
April 20, 2002, the Merage Brothers sold their Company Chef America Inc (including
Hot Pockets) to Nestlé for $2.6 Billion Dollars.
This
is a true American Dream Story.
