From Kabul Small Animal Rescue’s Facebook:
We're on the
time zone shuffle here! As Oktay gets crated up and to the Kabul airport to
leave for Dubai, Papo's puppies Artie and Atlas fly from Dubai to Istanbul, and
Zeus and Andy fly from Istanbul to Toronto. Meanwhile in Vancouver, Bora has
received her CDC exemption permit and made it to the US today for the long trek
home, and the kitties Shiro and Gaara have finally made it to their owner in
Ottowa after a long separation.
In the Kabul
shelter, we've got Tilda running around like a loon, healthy and happy with
three greedy-hungry open-eyed puppies rolling around like fat little sausages.
Our vets have their hands full with several very critical cases, our staff are
harvesting the many kilos of fruit from the trees in our facilities to give to
local mosques arranging food donations for the poor, and Terrance is beating
his own score of number-of-houseplants-peed-on-in-one-day.
To say we need help with finances is an understatement. One of our board members is going to start working with those who've offered to help fundraising and write grants this week, but we are paying expenses in enough countries to bring our Treasurer to tears, so if you can share our fundraisers (it's listed as our website) or donate through Facebook, it will be used for great things!
