On this day (June 20, 1863)
during the Civil War, West Virginia was admitted as the 35th U.S. State.
Having lived in Virginia I
understand West Virginia’s desire to leave. We went several times to Bluestone
State Park in Hinton, West Virginia and stayed in their cabins and had a great
time. I would love to go back there (to West Virginia.)
