The current Northern Irish Riots have been on-going since March 30, 2021. The Loyalists (Northern Irish Protestants who want Northern Ireland to always remain part of the United Kingdom) are attacking Republicans (Northern Irish Catholics who want Northern Ireland to reunite with the Republic of Ireland and to stay within the European Union) as well as the British Forces (the Police, etc.)
The Protestants
(the Ulster Defence Association and the Ulster
Volunteer Force) are mad because since Brexit goods to/from the UK have to go
through Customs whereas goods to/from N.I and the R.O.I to do not. They see it
as a step towards Irish reunification. So
far the Protestants have injured 88 Northern Irish Police and an unknown number
of Catholics. They are using rioting, arson and hijackings to destroy the
fragile peace Northern Ireland has had since 1998 (they have even destroyed the
"Peace Walls" built in the 1960s to keep the Protestant and Catholic
Neighborhoods separate.)
The above picture is
a Catholic Mural in Derry/Londonderry (the Catholics call the city Derry and
the Protestants call it Londonderry.) The mural is to let everyone know that it
is a Catholic area and that Protestants are not welcomed or safe there - it
also tells the Catholic side of N.I History. I took it when I was in Northern
Ireland in June 2010.

a Protestant Mural in Belfast. The mural is to let everyone know that it is a
Protestant area and that Catholics are not welcomed or safe there - it also

Ireland in June 2010.
In areas where
there are no murals the streets, signs, etc. are painted.
