“Kyiv authorities publish updated map of bomb shelters”

To protect the population, civil defense storage facilities, subway, basements in apartment blocks, underground parking lots, and other underground structures will be used. Kyiv authorities have released an updated map of underground shelters to be used in emergency situations.

The press service of the Kyiv City State Administration says a special fund of civil defense protective structures has been created to shelter the population from man-made, natural, and military emergencies. They include civil defense storage facilities, subway, basements in apartment blocks, underground parking lots, and other underground structures that could be employed for the relevant needs temporarily. It is noted that the heads of organizations and owners of structures marked on the map are required to provide free access to shelters if necessary.

^ Sadly, these maps and preparations need to be made because Putin feels threatened at home and to distract from that he is building-up the threat against Ukraine with thousands upon thousands of Russian Troops along the Russian-Ukrainian Border and inside Ukraine (Donbas and in occupied Crimea.) Whether Russia will invade the rest of Ukraine is unknown (except to Putin) but his latest moves do have all the markings of the earlier Russian invasion and occupation of Crimea as well as in Donbas. Russia and Putin always try to play the victim, but 9.9 out of 10 times they are the aggressors and it is done when ordinary Russians start to question why they continue to live in a Third World/Developing Country without many of the basics. ^
