This was what the Secretary of
State in my State posted on Twitter today: "We need more young people to
work the polls."
It sounds like he is saying
there is a shortage of strippers and pole dancers in the State. What he meant
was that the vast majority of Volunteers who work at the polling stations
across the State are elderly and are not able to work this Election because of
Covid-19 and the State wants younger people to work at the polling stations for
them.
He should have posted:
"We need more young people to work at the polls." There's a big
difference between working the polls and working at the polls.
