This is a follow-up to DirecTv.
Last Thursday and Friday the majority of my channels didn’t work. Since a handful
did work I knew it wasn’t weather-related. We were given a service call appointment
for Friday and no one came. After dealing with 2 bad Customer Service Reps out
of 3 (see earlier post) we were given a new service call appointment for today (Monday.)
Saturday the channels went from not working the whole time to working randomly.
Sunday all the channels came back. Clearly the problem was with DirecTv and not my equipment or the weather
since We got 2 phone calls on Sunday saying we could cancel our service call
for Monday if the channels were working correctly. It would have been nice if
DirecTv had been up-front with us the first or even the second time we called
them about our service problem. They made it sound like it was only an issue
with our equipment and our house when clearly it was either a system-wide or
regional service problem. I am not pleased with how DirecTv lied to us (several
times over this one issue.)
