Travel Memories

Seeing the Facebook Memory about the West Bank today – mentioning that it was exactly 2 years ago today that I went to Bethlehem and Jericho which not many foreigners go to and Israelis are forbidden, by Israeli and Palestinian laws, to go to -   made me think about all the other “off-the-beaten” path places I have gone to over the years: Russia (visited and lived several times), Iceland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, several hours north of the Arctic Circle in Alaska, Campobello Island (New Brunswick, Canada), Prince Edward Island (Canada), Malta, Northern Ireland, Costa Rica, Montenegro, Kuwait, Croatia, Israel and Ukraine. There are a whole bunch of these kinds of places within the US I have also been to, but am only including the Arctic Circle, Alaska.
