CCI Update

Here’s an update on my  landline phone: Consolidated Communications was supposed to come to my area (but not to my house) yesterday to replace old wires with new ones. I have no idea if they actually came and did the work or not. I know they didn’t come to my house or on to my mountain road, but the main box is about a mile or 2 away so they could have gone there. I do know that my landline phone and Internet is working (knock on wood) right now and that my Support Ticket online was closed by them. I did get a generic e-mail from Consolidated Communications telling me that CCI is well-prepared to give support and make sure things are running smoothly during the pandemic (which is a little funny to get after their phone service was out for 3 days.) Hopefully, the work was done and completed and that phone the phone and Internet will work and not go out in 5 months (as it did in November 2019 and April 2020.)
