On May 3, 2023 (after several
years of extensions) every American National and Citizen in all 50 U.S. States,
the District of Columbia, and 4 of 5 U.S. Territories (except American Samoa) will
need a REAL ID compliant Non-Driver’s ID or Driver’s License if they want to
enter any US Federal Government Building or to fly Domestically (within the
US.)
After May 3, 2023 if you do not
have a REAL ID complaint Card you can still enter Federal Buildings and fly
around the US if you have: a US Passport Book, a US Passport Card or an Enhanced
Driver’s Licenses (EDL) issued by Washington, Michigan, Minnesota, New York,
and Vermont.
