Heroes Vs Truth

Even in a School Shooting Politics comes before lives or the truth.

Texan Governor, Greg Abbott, tried to make it sound like the Local and State Police were heroes who rushed right in to save the lives of the children.

In fact they waited an hour outside until the Federal Border Patrol came and they went in.

Those waiting an hour outside in safety are NOT Heroes. They allowed many more children to be brutally  murdered even when the Relatives outside were begging the Police to go in and save them.

Remember when that Armed School Security Guard didn’t help when Children were being shot and killed at Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida in 2018? That Security Guard was charged for not doing his job and allowing 17 to be killed and another 17 wounded.

The Armed Local and State Police in Texas are just as guilty as the Florida Security Guard was and allowed 21 to be killed and 17 wounded (not including the Shooter’s Grandmother.)

The ONLY heroes in all of this are the 2 Unarmed Teachers inside who died trying to save their Children and the Federal Officers who actually went into the School to stop the Gunman while the other Police listened to the massacre from the safety of outside.

I'm not saying I would have been a hero and would have gone inside the school, but I'm also not trained and armed to do that for a living.

While Thoughts and Prayers are well and good there needs to be REAL action, both by those armed and sworn to protect during a shooting as well as afterwards.
