Ukrainian football legend Andriy Shevchenko is the first UNITED24 ambassador

Today, on May 18, Andriy Shevchenko met with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Shevchenko specially came from London to Kyiv.

“I have been representing Ukraine in the international football arena for many years. Today, when my country is under attack, my priority is helping Ukraine, not football,” says Andriy Shevchenko. “It is a great honor to become the first UNITED24 ambassador. I will do my best to raise awareness of Ukraine's needs; encourage people to join UNITED24 and contribute to our victory.”

The first event in support of UNITED24, a Charity Auction in London, will take place on June 8. The UNITED24 team continues to work on recruiting new ambassadors who will join Andriy Shevchenko and focus their efforts on increasing the number of donations in support of Ukraine.
