Kyiv Embassies

As of May 14, 2022 the following Countries and Organizations have active and working Embassies in Kyiv, Ukraine – it is not in alphabetical order, but as this picture in Ukrainian is:


Turkmenistan, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Georgia, Lebanon, Latvia, Romania, the United Nations, South Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Holy See (Vatican), the Netherlands, Croatia, Canada, Palestinian Territories, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, the European Union, Sweden, Denmark, Cyprus, Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic and Turkey.

Here are the Countries that had Embassies/Consulates in Ukraine before Russia Invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022:

Embassy in Kyiv (not including those in the list above): The United States, Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Cuba, Egypt, Estonia, France, Greece, Germany, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Mexico, Montenegro,  Morocco, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Sudan and Vietnam.

Note: It is unclear if these Consulates have reopened since the War Began.

Consulate in Berehore: Hungary

Consulate in Chernivtsi: Romania

Consulate in Kharkiv: Poland

Consulate in Lutsk: Poland

Consulates in Lviv: Australia (currently has its Embassy here), Canada, the Czech Republic, Japan (currently has its Embassy here) and Poland

Consulate in Mariupol: Greece

Consulates in Odesa: Bulgaria, China, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Poland, Romania and Turkey

Consulate in Solotvyno: Romania

Consulates in Uzhhorod: Hungary and Slovakia

Consulate in Vinnytsia: Poland

Note:

 Russia closed its Embassy in Kyiv and its Consulates in: Kkarkiv, Odesa and Lviv once Russia Invaded them in 2022.

Russia closed its Consulate in Sevastopol (Crimea)  once Russia invaded them in 2014.

Poland closed its Consulate in Sevastopol (Crimea) in 2014 when Russia Invaded.

Poland and the Czech Republic closed their Consulates in Donetsk in 2014 when Russia started fighting there.

The United States is currently operating out of Poland and is expected to return to Kyiv and Ukraine soon.
