With my Dog’s Birthday (June 28th)
and my Birthday (June 30th) coming up I have to prepare to investigate
who sent me an item that came with no name on it – so I can thank the person.
Twice a year (my Birthday and
Christmas) this happens and it brings me back to when I was in Middle School
and read “The Boxcar Children” and it becomes “The Boxcar Children and the Case
of the Unknown Sender.”
Side Note: I have 60 of “The
Boxcar Children” books, 10 of “The Boxcar Children Specials” and “The Boxcar Children Cookbook.” I know they
continue to publish new books every year (they have 170 total so far), but my
collection ends in 1997 (although I have seen the two movies and want to go to “The
Boxcar Children Museum” in Connecticut.)
Long story short: Thanks to “The
Boxcar Children” and wanting to run away and live in a boxcar when I was
younger I can now figure out who sent me a present with no name on it 25 years
later.
