Ukraine has: 24 Oblasts (Provinces), 1 Autonomous Region (Crimea) and 2 Special Cities (Sevastopol and Kyiv.)
As of May 10, 2022 Ukraine has
full control of 17 Oblasts and 1 Special City (Kyiv.)
As of May 10, 2022 Russia has
full control of 1 Autonomous Region (Crimea – since February 27, 2014) and 1
Special City (Sevastopol – since February 27, 2014.)
The largest city under Russian
Occupation (besides Sevastopol and others in Crimea) is Kherson – with a
population of 283,649.
Of the 7 Oblasts that are under
partial Russian Occupation 2 Oblasts (Odesa and Mykolaiv) have only 1 town occupied
by the Russians (Snake Island, Odesa Oblast – with a population of less than
100 and Snihurivka, Mykolaiv Oblast – with a population of 12,000.)
Ukraine’s second largest city,
Kharkiv, which has a population of 1,433,886, has never fallen to the Russian Invaders
despite being under constant attack from the land and the ground since February
24, 2022.
Besides Sevastopol and Crimea (which
were invaded and occupied in 2014) Russia has not occupied a whole Ukrainian Administrative
Region since the start of their War on February 24, 2022.
Ukraine has retaken large swaths
of land once under Russian Occupation - north of Kyiv and in the east around
Kharkiv.
After 77 days of brutal fighting
Putin and Russia’s Nazis have gained very little and have lost more than they
can comprehend (including an estimated 26,000 Russian Soldiers.)
Keep up the bad work Russia the
would is counting on you to continue to fail!
