D-Day

 


160,000 Allied Soldiers (Americans, Brits, Canadians, Free French, Free Dutch, Free Poles, etc.) landed on German-Occupied France on June 6, 1944.

4,414 Allies died on D-Day alone (1,465 Americans; 335 Canadians; 1,449 British and the rest from the other different Allied Countries.)
