From the Kabul Small Animal Rescue’s Facebook:
Snow is growing fast now, and
getting fluffier every day. He isn't old enough to go on the evacuation flight,
so he will stay with us through the winter. In addition to needing the last
portion of the flight payment, the costs of keeping over 300 animals warm and
fed and healthy have skyrocketed recently as Afghanistan experiences currency
fluctuations and countrywide economic distress. We appreciate every donation
and every fundraiser share, please keep helping us. We'll have some more great
videos of our animals later today, so check back!
^ Please help the KSAR. Not only are they trying to get over 300 cats and dogs evacuated out of Afghanistan (many of whom were abandoned by those that fled the Taliban), but they will continue to operate inside Kabul to help any new abandoned and abused animals. The Head of KSAR, Charlotte Maxwell-Jones, is an American Woman (two groups the Taliban hate) and she will stay in Kabul working after the 300 are evacuated. ^
