“This Christmas, everyone at KSAR is thankful to all those who have supported our efforts and encouraged us along the way. We didn't expect or intend to be in Afghanistan this Christmas, but we are, and we've done our best to rise to the challenges of these past months. It is truly exhausting, but we get to create moments of peacefulness and safety for the innocent creatures in our care, one of the greatest rewards possible. We are grateful to everyone who has shared or donated to our flight fundraiser, and hope you can all keep pushing and sharing our evacuation efforts so that we can make this final push and give our animals the gift of loving homes and safe lives. Merry Christmas to all who celebrate, and from all of us to all of you, we wish you a peaceful day.”
