 I saw some posts of people wondering why so many (5,000+ a 65% increase in the past 2 weeks) unaccompanied minors are illegally crossing into the US right now.

 Part of it is due to Biden and his Homeland Security Secretary (Alejandro Mayorkas) making it easier for illegals within the US to get Green Cards and even US Citizenship. They may say publicly that new illegals shouldn't enter the US, but their actions towards helping and promoting the illegals already in the US tell a different story.

The other part is from a 1795 Federal Law making Birthright Citizenship in the US legal and reenforced by the 14th Amendment in 1868 (meaning any person born in the US and it's Territories - except American Samoa who are only US Nationals and not US Citizens - automatic US Citizens.) While most of the world has done away with Birthright Citizenship the US has not.

Pregnant Foreign Women come to the US (sometimes legally and sometimes illegally) and give birth here meaning their minor child is automatically an American and these "Anchor Babies" then allow for the Parents, other non-American siblings, and even Grandparents to get Visas and Green Cards to come live and work here. There are lots of illegal 'birth tourism" places in Hawaii, California, Florida, New York, Puerto Rico and Texas that cater to this illegal industry.

Another way to get the whole family into the US is to have "Anchor Children." These are children born outside the US to non-US Citizens who are usually forced (by their relatives) to enter the US illegally so they can get caught and go to Detention Centers and plead their case to an immigration Judge. Usually whole families that come together are deported, but not minors.

If these minors have relatives (legal or not) already in the US then they are released to those relatives and their Parents and other relatives back home are usually allowed to come to the US to care for them within a few months.

If these minors have no relatives already in the US and an Immigration judge approves their case (more than 75% are approved) then their immediate families are allowed to come to the US and live and work here usually within a few weeks.

It is all carefully thought out and paid for by the illegals themselves.  It should be noted that while the Mexican Government works hard to protect illegal Mexicans coming and living with the US (and bashing the US Government for not giving the illegal Mexicans more rights and freedoms) they are not so nice with the OTM (Other Than Mexican) illegals within Mexico.

An OTM within Mexico will either be deported back to their country or be sent (including women and children) to Forced Labor Penal Colonies run mostly be the Mexican Drug Cartels who grease the palms of the local Mexican authorities to look the other way. The Mexicans general treat their illegal immigrants much worse than the US does.

Something to think about when you hear the stories or see the pictures of all the sad unaccompanied minors illegally coming into the US. It is all a well-thought out plan to scam the US Immigration System and dope the American public to feel sorry for them (and many pay thousands of Dollars to Drug Lords to do this.)

And FYI: Most of the countries (especially European Union member countries like Spain, Austria, Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Denmark, France, Latvia, Lithuania Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, etc.) that once criticized the US for building a border wall or fence now have similar border walls and fences themselves for the same reasons we do (illegal immigration and smuggling.) The only difference is that many of these border walls and fences are built along internal EU borders (ie. Slovenia and Croatia, Denmark and Germany) which would be like New York State building a border wall or fence along its border with New Jersey.
