80: Ordinary People

When the Nazi Party (National Socialist German Workers' Party or in German: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei) was created it had 60 Members.

When the Nazi Party came into power (elected by the German People) in January 1933 it had 2 Million Members.

When the Nazi Party lost World War 2 and Germany was defeated in May 1945 it had 8 Million Members (or 10% of the total German 1945 Population of 80 Million.)

What does this show?

It shows that the vast majority of Germans in Nazi Germany (1933-1945) were not Nazis yet Germany was still able to murder 17 Million Men, Women and Children (all Civilians and all not killed during Military Fighting):

6 Million Jewish Men, Women and Children were murdered.

3 Million Non-Jewish Polish Men, Women and Children were murdered.

2 Million Non-Jewish Ukrainian Men, Women and Children were murdered.

500,000 Romani and Sinti (Gypsies) Men, Women and Children were murdered.

3.500 Spanish Republican Men, Women and Children were murdered.

9,000 Homosexual Men were murdered.

5,000 Jehovah's Witness Men, Women and Children were murdered.

270,000 Disabled Men, Women and Children were murdered.

This list doesn’t include the Men, Women and Children from each Group that was a Victim, but survived.

While Nazi Party Members were the main ones to murder these Civilians: in Concentration Camps, in Forced Labor Camps, in Death Camps, in Ghettos, in Gas Vans, in Hospitals, in Open Pits, on Streets, etc. Ordinary Germans also actively participated in their murder.

Ordinary (Non-Nazi Party) Soldiers of the German Wehrmacht helped murder Civilians in Non-Military Fighting throughout Europe through beatings, torture, shooting, etc.

Ordinary (Non-Nazi Party) Officers of the German Police helped murder Civilians in Non-Military Fighting throughout Europe through fake arrests, beatings, deportations, torture, shooting, etc.

Ordinary (Non-Nazi Party) German Firefighters helped by allowing Non-Aryan Buildings (Museums, Schools, Synagogues, Businesses and Homes) burn only making sure the Aryan Buildings nearby were fine.

Ordinary (Non-Nazi Party) German Judges helped by allowing fake arrests, Show Trails with Pre-determined Guilty Verdicts, deportations and death. 

Ordinary (Non-Nazi Party) German Lawyers helped by allowing fake arrests, giving no real Defense to the accused, Show Trials with Pre-Determined Guilty Verdicts, etc.

Ordinary (Non-Nazi Party) German Doctors and Nurses helped murder Civilians in Non-Military Fighting throughout Europe through Forced Sterilizations, Forced Medical Experiments, Forced Lethal Injections, using Fake Medical Science, etc.

Ordinary (Non-Nazi Party) German Teachers and Professors helped by expelling Non-Aryan Students (even before the Nazis made it Mandatory), by teaching and promoting Fake Medical Science, by teaching and promoting Racial Stereotypes and Myths, etc.

Ordinary (Non-Nazi Party) German Railway Workers and Train Conductors helped by giving priority to the Cattle Cars going across Europe to the Concentration and Death Camps, by charging for each Victim they transported, by keeping the Trains in running order, by keeping and repairing the Train Tracks (especially after an Air Raid), etc.

Ordinary (Non-Nazi Party) German Businessmen/women helped by turning in innocent people to acquire the Victim’s businesses and things, by used Forced Labor and paying the Nazis for each Prisoner, etc.

Ordinary (Non-Nazi Party) Germans helped by turning in innocent people, acquiring their homes, their belongings, refusing to have any contact with their Non-Aryan Friends anymore, not speaking out, etc.

The list of the German Professions that actively helped murder Innocent Civilians during World War 2 goes on and on.

After 1945 the vast majority of these Criminals went back to the regular lives and did not receive the punishments they should have.

Because of this I don’t like when people simply say “The Nazis” instead of “The Germans” when referring to the Crimes of World War 2.

The Current German Government has done just that since 1945.

It is made to say that only a small faction carried out the murders and tries to deflect from the reality and truth that it was the German People who carried out the crimes.

I don’t blame any German born after 1928 (who were either 18 years or younger during the Nazi Period or who wasn’t even born yet) for the crimes of their Parents, their Grandparents, their Great-Grandparents, etc.

January 27th is International Holocaust Remembrance Day and we need to remember the Victims and those who committed the crimes.

What happened in Germany from 1933-1945 can happen ANYWHERE in 2025 (including the United States.)

It doesn't just happen because of a small group, but because Ordinary Citizens stand-by and do nothing.

80 years after the Holocaust ended and Anti-Semitic (Anti-Jewish) Attacks have risen 250% in the US and 300% around the World.
