Women in the US Military 167,206 are deployed around the World.

In Europe: 67,395
(including 35,068 in Germany; 12,375 in Italy; 10,058 in the UK, 3,292 in Spain;
299 in Poland)
In The Former Soviet Union:

In East Asia and the Pacific:
84,093 (including 54,774 in Japan and 24,234 in South Korea)
In North Africa, Near East and
South Asia: 6,561
In Sub-Saharan Africa:
1,035
In the Western Hemisphere:
1,947 (including 616 at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; 152 in Canada and 135 in
Greenland)
On the Oceans on Ships and in
Unknown Destinations: 5,935
These numbers do include the US
Marines stationed at the American Embassies and Consulates around the World.
These numbers don’t include the
American Civilian Federal Employees working for the US Military around the
World.
These numbers don’t include the
American Civilian Contract Workers working for the US Military around the
World.
These numbers don’t include the
American Military Spouses and Military Children (Military Brats) living around
the World because their Spouse or Parent is in the US Military.
