USPS Vs Military

On May 4th I went to the Post Office and mailed two items. The first was a card going to New York (4 hours away.) It took 8 days to get there. The second was a box going to Italy. It took 11 days to get there (and that's with the USPS giving it to the Military Post Office.) 

I could have walked the card to New York faster than the USPS delivered it. Good thing the Military Post Office is faster and more reliable (I don't think I could walk the box to Italy.)
