People's Squads

From the Yaroslavl City Government’s Website:

“The streets of Yaroslavl will be patrolled by Voluntary People's Squads”

In the Kirov District Police Department, a briefing was held for the first group of Yaroslavl Residents who joined the ranks of the People's Vigilantes. Caring Residents of the city will, together with Law Enforcement Officers, go out into the streets of Yaroslavl in the evening and at night and keep order.

The task of security and public order in the city is very important. It is necessary for people to feel comfortable and feel safe," said the Mayor of Yaroslavl, Artem Molchanov.

At the moment, there are 12 Squads in the city. Starting next week, intensive work will begin in each District. Yaroslavl Residents will be divided into several Groups, each of which will monitor incidents in the city. "Our new responsibilities are to patrol the streets of the city, keep order, so that people can relax, have fun and not be afraid of anything," said Margarita Cuchereanu, a member of the Volunteer People's Squad. On Friday, the central streets of Yaroslavl and the most popular public areas were tested in test mode. In the near future, the Vigilantes will begin classes in hand-to-hand combat. Work in this direction will continue.

^ During Soviet Times the Communists used People’s Vigilante Groups to patrol Towns and Cities where they had full authority to fine, beat, harass and arrest any other Citizen.

The more people you beat the more you were rewarded so these Groups weren’t the Neighborhood Watches like in the US, but Mini-Informers with Police Powers.

They would take a guy with long hair and cut it while punching him in the stomach for “resisting.

They would rape a Woman for wearing “Westen Clothes” and say they were trying to make her more Soviet.

The examples go on and on.

Now in Putin’s Russia Nazi Zs Groups are patrolling Yaroslavl and other Cities and Towns across Russia to do similar things – all in the name of Public Safety.

Don’t forget that anyone simply saying what Russia is doing in Ukraine as a “War” will be sent to a Forced Labor Penal Colony for 15 years.

The list of things that are against the Russian State are as long as the list was for things against the Soviet State and the punishments are just as harsh.

If you take a picture of a Non-Russian Drone landing inside Russia (even if it hits your house) you will be charged with discrediting the Russian Military and the Russian State  - since you implied that the Russian Air Defenses didn’t work to shoot the Drone down (even though they didn’t work.)

If your Husband or Son dies fighting in Ukraine and you tell anyone about it (even other Family Members or Friends)  - even if you praise Putin and Russia when doing so – you will be charged with discrediting the Russian Military and the Russian State and can be sent to a Forced Labor Penal Colony for 12 years – since you implied that Russia lost a Soldier when they haven’t officially lost anyone since September 2022.

Sadly, Putin’s Nazi Methods are alive and well not only in Ukraine, but also throughout Russia.

I lived in Yaroslavl twice and visited there 3 separate times and have a lot of Friends still there. It is sad to see how the once amazing City and Russia as a whole has fallen so far down in such a short amount of time.

For anyone 50 or older they should know better since they lived through Soviet Times and all of this before – yet it is better to be an ostrich in Russia than to live like a Human Being. ^
