Day 20 with no Speaker of the House (meaning nothing can even look like it's being done in the House of Representatives.)
All of this due to House Republican In-Fighting.
The Federal Government is scheduled to completely Shutdown on
November 17, 2023 which means 2 Million American Soldiers and Millions of
hardworking Americans won't be paid.
Nothing can stop a Government Shutdown now until the House
gets its act together and elects a Speaker.
Then both the House and the Senate have to make and pass
Government Spending Bills. Then Biden has to sign the Spending Bill all to keep
the Government open and paying Soldiers and Immigration Officers (who risk
their lives for us.)
