Political In-Fighting

Back in January 2023 it took Kevin McCarthy 15 rounds of voting to become Speaker of the House (due to Republican In-Fighting.)

On October 3, 2023 - for the first time in US History -  McCarthy was removed as Speaker of the House (due to Republican In-Fighting.)

Today (October 17, 2023) the latest Candidate, Jim Jordan, lost the vote to become the Speaker of the House (due to Republican In-Fighting.)

The Republicans can’t even get on the same page within their own Party.

If the Republicans can’t even figure out a Speaker of the House how do you expect them to govern in the Senate or in the Presidency?

No work can get done without a new Speaker of the House so the Republican In-Fighting is hurting the United States and our Allies (Israel, Ukraine, etc.)

 

Since 2022 the National Democratic Party is trying to change a 100+ year tradition simply because Biden didn’t win there back in 2020.

The Democrats are trying to force New Hampshire to get rid of it’s First In The Nation Primary which it has held since 1920.

There is In-fighting between the Democrats over this.

No NH Democrat wants to change or even attempt to change this Century+ Long tradition (not that they could if they wanted to since it is in the NH State Constitution.)

The National Democratic Party says that if NH doesn’t change to the new rules (that favor States Biden won in 2020) then NH Democrats will be punished in various ways: Not allowing Democrat Candidates to be on the State Ballot, not allowing NH Democrats at the Democrat National Convention, etc.

 

There has always been fighting between the Republicans and the Democrats, but it is unusual to have so much fierce In-Fighting between Republicans and Republicans and Democrats and Democrats.

 

Who loses in all of this? We all do.
