Fickle Movement?

I've heard a lot about how the youth of today are changing the country (usually in the same sentence of how little attention span they also have.) Many of these "movements" fizzle out within months. The Occupy Movement ended when it got too cold outside. Let's see if these youth continue to demand change when it's their Summer vacation and they have to give up their free time at the pool rather than time from class. Then I will be impressed and put them on par with the students of the 1960s-70s who demanded change year-round for: Blacks, Hispanics, Gays and Women's Civil Rights.
