Affair Distinction

It seems the same people, who in 1998, defended Bill Clinton's sex scandal (where he not only had an affair in the White House, but also lied to the American people about it - all while he was President) are now attacking Trump for having an affair when he wasn't President.

I personally think people who cheat are some of the worst kind of scum, but I do see the distinction between being President and abusing your power as Leader of The Free World by having an affair with a staffer in the White House and being a regular man (even a wealthy one) and having an affair.
