Some people have been asking me about this (since Veterans' Day is this week) so here is the official definition:
- Veterans' Day (November 11th) is for all soldiers who served their country.
- Memorial Day (last Monday of May) is for all the soldiers who died while serving their country.
- Armed Forces Day (third Saturday of May) is for all soldiers currently serving their country.
- Army Day (June 14th) is for soldiers in the United States Army
- Coast Guard Day (August 4th) is for soldiers in the United States Coast Guard
- Air Force Day(September 17th) is for soldiers in the United States Air Force
- Navy Day (October 27th) is for sailors in the United States Navy
- Marine Corps Day (November 10th) is for soldiers in the United States Marine Corps
- National Guard Day (December 13th) is for soldiers in the National Guard of the United States
