This is Confederation Bridge that connects the Province of
Prince Edward Island to the rest of Canada (via the Province of New Brunswick.)
It was built in 1997 and is 8 miles long.
It is Canada's Longest Bridge and the World's Longest Bridge
Over Iced Water.
Entry to PEI is free, but you have to pay $50 Canadian Dollars
($36 American Dollars to leave - whether you go over the Bridge or the Ferry.)
My Mom and I entered PEI on the Confederation Bridge and left
via Ferry to Nova Scotia in July 2012.
