Snow Check

 

We are expecting Winter Weather (8 inches of heavy snow and then ice on top of that) in the coming days so I went around the house (all 16 rooms) and around the outside to check on everything.

Our Propane Tank is full and ready.

Our Generator did its Weekly Test and is ready.

I cleaned all the filters to our heaters.

I checked the wood in our outside woodpile.

I checked the wood in our porch.

I checked our wood-burning stove.

I checked our fireplace.

Our Back-up Internet is still down so if our regular Internet goes out I won’t be able to be reached by Internet (only by our Landline Telephone.)

I checked the flashlights, emergency radio, blankets, non-perishable Human and Dog food, our Human and Dog First Aid Supplies, etc.

My Jeep is in the Garage and has a full tank of Gas and a Winter Emergency Kit in it.

Our Snowblower is all set.

We have the Plow Guy to plow the snow and sand the Driveway.

I have sand to take care of the walkways and the balcony.

I have Pet-Friendly Salt for any ice.

I have my shovels ready.

I am as set as I can be.
