One-Way Street

 

Sadly many relationships (Family and Friends) are only "one way streets."

That's where one person is the only one  - or at least the main one - to initiate contact with another person.

People often use the excuse that they are busy or they forgot, but if you really cared you would remember and find the time.

Everyone is busy.

Everyone forgets things.

Those aren't good excuses - especially in a world of IMs, e-mails, cell phones, FaceTime, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, regular mail, landline phones, etc.

I hope that I am not the person who is too busy or who forgets people.

Bottom Line: Check in on your Family, your Friends, the Elderly, the Sick, the Disabled, your Neighbors, etc.
