Evacuated

 Earlier this morning I was sleeping when my Sister’s Boyfriend said there were a lot of cops outside and they told us to evacuate. I threw clothes on and we left.

When we were evacuating the house we saw a woman on the side of the road and 3 different cop cars (our Town’s Sherriff), the K-9 Unit from the next town and the Park Police.

Town’s Sherriff  took our phone number to call us when it was over, but never did nor did the Sheriff stop to tell us anything when he drove past us  - we were several streets away waiting and did have cell service since my Sister (who works towns away) called us.

While we waited we saw 2 State Police cars and a cop car from a town 40 minutes away.

There was also 1 Ambulance.

We only knew it was safe to return home when the K-9 Cop Unit stopped and told us as he was leaving.

We are now back home. The whole thing took around an hour. Everything on the Mountain seems fine and our dogs are good.

I am going into the next town later today for a haircut so hopefully the excitement is now over.
