Rick Hoyt

 

Rick Hoyt, who with his Father, Dick, pushing his wheelchair became a fixture at the Boston Marathon and other races for decades, died today. He was 61.

Rick had Cerebral Palsy which left him a Quadriplegic.

With Dick pushing, the two completed the Boston Marathon 32 times.

They even completed the Ironman Triathlon 6 times.

Dick Hoyt died in 2021 at the age of 80.
