From Fort Ticonderoga’s Facebook:
Join Fort Ticonderoga this Saturday and Sunday (May 27-28) to
pay tribute to the men and women who lost their lives in service to their
country during the American Revolution. Discover the story of the American Army
in 1777 and how it prepared to defend liberty at Ticonderoga through living
history programs and demonstrations throughout Memorial Day weekend.
A special service (Sunday ONLY) features a procession of a Continental Army soldier’s funeral. Pay respect to the numerous soldiers who did not receive a proper burial at Ticonderoga in 1777 and reflect on the ultimate sacrifice they made to secure our liberty today.

^ I wish I could go back. I have loved going to Fort
Ticonderoga since I was a little kid. ^
