ЯК ЖИТИ БЕЗ НЬОГО?

 

Відкрили труну... Обіймає і плаче...

Ті сльози рікою... Нічого не бачить...

Лиш прапор до серця тепер притискає, -

А він... Він вже янголом в небі літає...

 

Сховали кохання навік в домовину,

Напівсиротою лишили дитину.

Ще вчора - дружина, сьогодні - вдова,

Покрита у чорне її голова...

 

А вдома чекають у кожнім кутку

Лиш згадки про нього... І долю гірку

Вона прокляне... Світу більше не стало...

Без нього повітря для неї замало.

 

Без нього не може ні їсти, ні спати,

Побачить надворі живого солдата

І плаче... Голосить, - " Чому ж мій помер?

Як жити без нього? Як жити тепер?.. "

 

Translation:

HOW TO LIVE WITHOUT HIM?

The coffin has been opened... Hugs and cries...

Those tears are a river.. Can't see anything...

Only the flag to the heart now pushes, -

Half orphaned child was left.

There is not enough air for her without him.

Can't eat or sleep without it,

Will see outside a live soldier

And she is crying... Says, - "Why did my die?

How to live without him? How to live right now?. . "
