Common Sense

Where I live there is no mask law. There is also no law requiring those over 18 to wear a helmet (on a motorcycle or a bike) or even a seatbelt (in a car or truck.) The State Government believes that while you should wear a mask, a helmet and a seatbelt if you don't and you get sick (with no mask) or get hurt or die (with no helmet or seatbelt) then you are just plain stupid, have no basic common sense and deserve whatever happens to you.

I wear a mask. I wear a seatbelt. If I rode a motorcycle or a bike I would wear a helmet. I don't have to - there is no law - but it is basic common sense and anyone who doesn't is a complete idiot who deserves whatever happens to them.

I find it a fitting result when people publicly flaunt not wearing a mask and they get extremely sick or don't wear a seatbelt and get paralyzed or don't wear a helmet and get brain-damage (even more than they did when they decided not to wear a helmet in the first-place.)

You shouldn't have to be told or forced to do certain things and yet there are many people out there who clearly need to be told and forced since they don't have the basic common sense to do it on their own.

People who don't wear a mask, don't wear a helmet and don't wear a seatbelt are the reasons we need special warning signs on things like a can of cashew nuts having to say the can of nuts contains nuts in it and was processed in a facility with nuts so if you are allergic to nuts then don't eat these cashews.
