Shopping Dude

If a company sells things online and they have a drop-box that has all the states, territories, APOs and DPOs then why are they so shocked when someone from New England orders from them? I know the company is in southern California and they are all hyped-up on recreational drugs and surfing (Dude) but it's the 2nd decade of the 21st Century and the Internet and online shopping shouldn't confuse people under 40.
