67 Years Long

67 years ago today North Korea invaded South Korea. The US (along with the UN and many other countries) went to war with them. While an Armistice was signed in 1953 there was no formal peace settlement and so we have technically still been involved for all these years with no diplomatic relations and Americans needing official US Government permission to travel to North Korea. People (students, journalists, etc.) that go against common sense and government laws and find themselves in trouble in North Korea shouldn't expect much help.
