"May 21st is 'Apocalypse No,' a day of jokes not Judgment"
No Judgment! But a whole lot of joking as Judgment Day, aka the Rapture, aka the Apocalypse, has gone off without a world-ending disaster (little quakes in Iceland don't seem to count). The joke appears to be on Harold Camping and his earnest followers. After all, if you're reading this, you're still standing squarely on earth, not off with the angels where the true believers were supposed to be flown in a flash at 6 p.m.
^ Well it is after 6 pm and there was no Rapture. It seems all the media hype over this idiot's predictions were all for nothing. I guess the fact that he predicted the world's end in 1994 and was wrong and has done the same exact thing today means nothing to the "intelligent media." As the article states there are many jokes coming out of all this. I posted on my Facebook status that "It's after 6 pm. We can now go on with our regularly-scheduled lives." I'm sure this idiot will pick another date and people will continue to believe him. I even bet they would drink Kool-Aid if he gave them some. ^
