Elderly married couple crossed
the Russian-Ukrainian border, holding hands.
Anna is blind, while her husband
Vladimir can barely walk.They endured a long and dangerous journey through
Russia to leave the occupied part of Kherson Obkast.
To cross the 2km pedestrian zone
at the Pokrovka border checkpoint (Ukraine), volunteers from the Red Cross
Society of Sumy assisted them. They also captured this touching photo.
