Edward Snowden leaked 1.7 Million National Security Agency Surveillance Files as well as 58,000 British and 15,000 Australian Intelligence Files in 2013. He has been in Russia since 2013 and received Russian Citizenship in 2022.
Bradley Manning (now Chelsea Manning) leaked 750,000 US Army, US State
Department, etc. via Wikileaks in 2013. Sentenced to 35 years in Prison, commuted
to 7 Years by President Obama in 2017 and released in 2017.
Jack Teixeira leaked unknown number of Classified Documents about Ukraine,
Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Egypt, the UN, Israel, Turkey, Canada, the
United Arab Emirates and the United States in 2023. Currently arrested and
awaiting trial.
The US Federal Government needs to completely revamp whom
they give Security Clearances to, what each person has access to and do spot
checks on everyone because clearly the status quo isn’t working.
