100% Illegal

Today (November 30, 2023) the Russian Supreme Court reaffirmed Vladimir Putin’s Law that Homosexually is 100% Illegal throughout Russia and the Russian-Occupied Territory of Ukraine.

In 1716 Czar Peter the Great banned Gays from serving in the Czarist Military.

Being Gay (but not a Lesbian) was made illegal in Czarist Russia in 1832 under Czar Nicholas I’s Article 995 of the Czarist Criminal Code, which stated that "Muzhelozhstvo", or Men lying with Men, was a Criminal Act punishable by exile to Siberia for up to 5 years.

Being Homosexual was legal during the Kerensky Democratic Government from February-October 1917.

Being Homosexual was legal in the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic from 1917-1922.

Being Homosexual was legal in the Soviet Union from 1922-1934.

Being Homosexual was made illegal in the Soviet Union from 1934 until 1991 - by Stalin’s  Article 121 of the Soviet Criminal Code punished "Muzhelozhstvo" with imprisonment for up to 5 years in a Gulag for Men. Lesbians were sent to Mental Institutions.

Being Gay (but not a Lesbian) was illegal in Russia from 1991-1993.

From 1934 to 1993 at least 250,000 Gay Soviet Men were sent to prison, the Gulag or a Mental Institution. The number is much higher, but most Gays were sent to Prison for other offenses which were recorded first rather than for simply being Gay.

In 1993 being Gay was made legal in Russia and those imprisoned were released.

On January 1, 1999, Homosexuality was removed from the Official Russian List of Diseases. At the same time, Homosexuals received the right to serve in the Army (All Russian Men have to serve in the Military.)

Gay Soldiers experience higher than normal Dedovshchina (Russian: дедовщина) – the practice of Older Recruits performing violent and sometimes deadly physical and psychological abuse, bullying or torture, including sexual torture and anal rape on Younger Recruits.

In 2013, "The Law on Propaganda of Non-Traditional Sexual Relationships to Minors" made it illegal to be Homosexual in Russia in certain Professions (Teacher, Professor, Coach, Politician, Nurse, Doctor, etc.)

In 2020 Putin’s Amendment to Russia's Constitution banned Same-Sex Marriage.

In 2022 Putin’s expansion to the 2013 Propaganda Law made it illegal to be Homosexual in all Civil Professions.

Being Homosexual has been illegal throughout Russia since November 30, 2023 when the Russian Supreme Court agreed with Putin that Homosexuality should be illegal.

Gay Man are sent to fight in Ukraine laying landmines or spend 15 years in Forced Labor Penal Colonies.

As in Czarist Times and Soviet Times Putin’s Russia uses Homosexuals and Jews as the Scapegoats for all the problems inside Russia (ie. how 328,000 Russian Soldiers have been killed inside Ukraine since February 2022 – 645 days, etc.)

I’m not Gay, but I stand with the Russian Homosexuals the same way I’m not Jewish, but I stand with the Israel and I’m not a Woman, but I stand with Women and I’m not Ukrainian, but I stand with Ukraine.
